Search Tips
To switch between address and property owner searches, click on the City of Akron logo in the top left corner of the screen to return to the main search page. If you are having trouble with your search, you may want to change the type of search to see if that yields results.
If you are having trouble finding an owner or property, try the following:
- Search by part of the name.

Search by just the street name without including N, S, E, W or Street, Drive, etc.
- Examples: Miller, Hawkins, Main

Search by just one key word of a property owner name.
- Examples: Timber, Akron
Do not use acronyms to search. For example, do not search "AMHA." Instead, search for "Akron" or "Metro" and then select from the list of results.
Sometimes properties are listed under individual owners and sometimes under the company name. Try both ways if you are having trouble finding one. If you still don’t get any results, call the Housing Compliance Division at 330-375-2366.
Site Information
The site shows the number of complaints received by the Housing Compliance Division, regardless of whether an ordinance violation was found or not.
The data on the site is refreshed nightly. It will show claims for the past two years.
*** Sometimes a property will appear on the list, but when you click for details, it says "Property Not Found." This likely means that there are no reports in the last two years. However, it may be due to a data issue. If you want to confirm whether there are any claims at that address, you may call the Housing Compliance Division at 330-375-2366.
